MAN 버스 FC바이에른 뮌헨 축구팀 승리에 한몫!
The newly-minted Treble winner FC Bayern Munich has celebrated an exuberant victory parade through the centre of Munich. The Wembley heroes worked their way through the masses on a specially-designed, convertible MAN truck to reach Marienplatz, Munich´s central square.
This purpose-built model is based on an MAN TGX truck with 400 HP and was produced in MAN´s Truck Modification Center in Wittlich. Firstly, the cab roof was removed, making it much easier for the fans to see their idols. MAN engineers also designed a special platform with handrails as part of the customized bodywork, offering enough space for players, trainer and officials to make it “party-proof”.
The parade started off in front MAN´s corporate headquarters in the Ungererstrasse, where the team boarded its new vehicle. Shortly before, the usual MAN team bus had collected the players from Munich Airport and brought them to Schwabing, where the convertible truck was already waiting for its celebrated passengers. This was in fact the second special mission for an MAN vehicle within a very short time ? only three weeks ago, Bayern legends like Lothar Matth?us and Paul Breitner took part in the league championship parade in a red double-decker bus.
MAN´s headquarters was dressed for occasion with an almost 10-meter-high lederhosen decorating the building. Next to it appeared the slogan, “Showing the whole of Europe who´s wearing the Lederhosen? We are your MAN.”

Thirteen first-division teams rely on buses from MAN and NEOPLAN
MANschaftsbus
The commercial vehicle manufacturer MAN is starting the 2013/2014 football season with a new record ? a total of thirteen Bundesliga clubs are using team buses made by MAN and MAN´s NEOPLAN brand to drive the players and their entourage to the stadiums. Holding a 72-percent share of the market for team buses, MAN clearly dominates the league. Every weekend, 350 professional footballers enjoy the luxurious facilities offered by MAN´s team buses. The Munich company with a long tradition is now set to continue its successful involvement in the German Bundesliga during the 2013/2014 season, sponsoring the top teams FC Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Hamburger SV, VfL Wolfsburg and Borussia M?nchengladbach.
“72 percent is an incredible share. It almost seems that club managers can sleep better if they know that their precious squad is traveling safely in our buses,” says Reinhard P?llmann, Chief Executive Officer of MAN Truck & Bus Deutschland.
The team buses driven by Bundesliga clubs are indeed equipped with a large number of safety systems. However, apart from safety, the players also rate a high level of comfort as an important feature of a team bus. Initially, an on-board ice maker may seem like sheer luxury, but if it helps to cool wounds during a long journey home, then it offers real support, as do multi-adjustable leather seats with leg rests. Flat panel displays with a DVD player, satellite TV and Wi-Fi access allow tactics to be discussed on board, or they can make a contribution to team entertainment. Whether games consoles can be connected remains a secret.
Thanks to its bus sponsoring activities, MAN has for many years successfully positioned itself in the highly-attractive and dynamic professional football environment. On special occasions, MAN also provides partner clubs with bespoke vehicles. For instance, the players, personnel and management of treble winner FC Bayern drove through the centre of Munich in a specially-made MAN convertible truck during their victory parade.
