April 22, 2025 – MAN Truck & Bus Korea, the Korean subsidiary of the German premium commercial vehicle manufacturer MAN Truck & Bus SE, has officially opened its managed service center, the ‘Busan Center’ and commenced full-scale operations.
The newly opened Busan Center is located in Nam-gu, Busan, near the Gamman Container Terminal— adjacent to the Port of Busan, the largest logistics hub in Korea. Its strategic location offers outstanding accessibility, being just a five-minute drive from the Busan Port Bridge, which connects to key terminals as Gamman, Sinseondae, and New Port. This allows trucks to conveniently visit the service center during their downtime between transports.
Totally spanning an area of 3,600㎡, the Busan Center and is equipped with state-of-the-art maintenance equipment and built in full compliance with the strict standards set by MAN HQ. With this setup, the center boasts a high maintenance capacity, enabling multiple vehicles to be serviced simultaneously. In addition to the spacious reception area on the first floor for service consultations, the facility includes a customer lounge, sales office, and cafeteria—further enhancing driver comfort and convenience.
The Busan Center is also equipped with an Engine Excellence Center (EEC), a facility specialized in engine repairs that enables more precise and systematic diagnostics. Designed specifically for engine inspection, disassembly, and reassembly, the EEC features dedicated workspaces and advanced diagnostic equipment, allowing for fast and accurate handling of even the most complex engine repairs.
With the opening of the Busan Center, MAN Truck & Bus Korea has now established direct-managing service centers across Korea’s three major regions—Seoul–Gyeonggi (Yongin), central Korea (Sejong), and the Busan–Gyeongnam area. This regionally balanced service network enhances customer accessibility and is expected to enable more consistent and high-quality service nationwide.
Peter Andersson, Managing Director of MAN Truck & Bus Korea, stated, “Busan is a critical hub for domestic logistics, and the opening of this new center represents a significant strategic investment aimed at delivering tangible value to our customers’ businesses. We will continue to invest in expanding our service capabilities across the country to meet and exceed customer expectations”
Meanwhile, MAN Truck & Bus Korea has been continuously working to enhance its service quality in response to increasing vehicle sales and growing maintenance demand. Following the opening of the Jeju Center in December last year, the addition of the Busan Center brings the company’s total service network to 22 locations nationwide.
