Apr N 2025 – MAN Truck & Bus Korea, the Korean subsidiary of the German premium commercial vehicle manufacturer MAN Truck & Bus SE, is driving positive change under the leadership of Managing Director Peter Andersson by strengthening on-site, communication-driven engagement rooted in active listening.
Recently, Managing Director Peter Andersson visited the sites of the ongoing “MAN PowerDrive” test drive events held across the country, where he spoke directly with customers and listened to their voices on-site.
At a customer test drive event held in mid-April, Managing Director Peter Andersson listened to a wide range of customer feedback and pledged to actively reflect their on-site suggestions in future product development and service enhancements. Customers shared both positive impressions of MAN’s product performance and service quality, as well as honest opinions on areas for improvement, expressing their expectations for future changes.
In addition to engaging with customers, Managing Director Andersson is also actively communicating with employees. At the recent “Sundowner” event held at the company’s Yongin headquarters, he exchanged ideas freely with staff and gathered feedback on ways to improve internal operations and corporate culture.
Based on these discussions, he continues to review practical improvements that can be applied to the workplace, fostering a culture of growth shared among all employees.
He also takes part in the monthly “Sales Network Meeting,” where he listens directly to the voices of sales network members working closest to customers across the country. By paying close attention to the individual insights of each regional salesperson, he focuses on reflecting customer needs and service expectations in real time.
Through this on-site leadership approach, MAN Truck & Bus Korea continues to drive positive change by enhancing both customer satisfaction and internal trust. The company’s focus on operational improvements driven by employee communication, along with its commitment to incorporating real customer feedback into products and services, highlights a hands-on leadership style that stands out.
Backed by this leadership rooted in listening and communication, MAN Truck & Bus Korea achieved tangible results in the first two months of the year. Compared to the same period last year, the company recorded a 19% increase in the market share of tractors and a 25% increase in the market share of tippers in the overall truck market.
Peter Andersson, Managing Director of MAN Truck & Bus Korea, stated, “The voices of our customers and employees are the most important compass that guides the direction of our company.” And “We will continue to listen closely to the on-site and reflect customer needs with care, while fostering a culture in which every team member can feel a strong sense of pride.”
